Plain terms for a small app. Use it to talk with your partner, not as a verdict on your relationship — and not as therapy.
Ready or Not is a structured way to compare where two people stand across six life areas: finances, family and kids, conflict style, values, intimacy, and lifestyle. The results are prompts for a conversation, nothing more.
It is not therapy, counseling, mediation, or legal advice. No score here should decide whether you stay together or separate. If you are experiencing distress in your relationship, please consider speaking with a licensed professional.
To use the app, you create an account with your email address and pair with one partner using an invite code. Each account can only be paired with one partner at a time. You are responsible for keeping your device and PIN/biometric lock secure — we cannot recover your on-device data if you lose access to it (see our Privacy Policy for details on why).
You agree not to use the app to:
Pairing requires consent. Both partners must independently agree to create an account and complete the questionnaire. Neither partner may create or complete an account on the other's behalf, or compel the other to participate.
If the app offers a free tier and a paid tier (e.g., a full assessment or ongoing check-ins), payments are processed through Apple's App Store or Google Play billing systems, subject to their respective terms. Subscriptions, if offered, automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date, through your Apple ID or Google Play account settings. Refunds are handled according to Apple's and Google's standard refund policies — we do not process refunds directly.
The app, including its question bank, AI-generated analysis logic, design, and branding, is owned by Ready or Not and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Your quiz answers and any content you create in the app remain yours; you grant us no ownership over them.
The app is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the AI-generated analysis will be accurate, complete, or suitable for your particular circumstances.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Ready or Not shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the app, including any decisions made about your relationship based on the app's content.
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time (Settings → Delete my account, or see our account deletion page). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, including the Acceptable Use section above.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Ready or Not operates, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
If a dispute arises regarding these Terms or the app, we encourage you to first contact us at hello@readyornot.me so we can try to resolve it directly.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you within the app before the changes take effect. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
