Your answers are only sent for the few seconds it takes to generate your comparison — then permanently deleted from our servers. We never store them.
We store the minimum needed to run the app:
That's the whole server-side picture. We do not store your quiz answers, your AI-generated analysis, or anything you write in the app.
Every answer you give, every comparison you've opened, your check-in history, and any optional reflection notes (like the "Blind Spots" questions) are encrypted and stored only on your device. This data is protected by your PIN or biometric lock, if you've enabled one. We cannot see, access, or recover this data — including if you contact us for support.
When you and your partner are both ready, your answers are sent securely, for a single request, to our AI provider (Anthropic) to generate your personalized comparison. This data is used only to generate that one response and is not retained by us or, per Anthropic's API terms, used to train their models. Once the analysis is delivered to both of your devices, our servers permanently delete the data that was sent.
Only the areas you've both completed, and only once you've both agreed to reveal them by opening your results together. Nothing before that. Your partner never sees your raw answers to individual questions — they see the same comparison and analysis you see.
Settings → Delete my account clears everything on your phone immediately. On our servers, this removes your email and pairing record; it does not affect your partner's account or their copy of your shared results, which lives on their device and is theirs to keep or delete separately. See our account deletion page for how to do this without the app installed.
Ready or Not is not directed at, and is not intended for use by, anyone under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under this age. If you believe a minor has provided us with information, please contact us at hello@readyornot.me so we can delete it.
We rely on a small number of service providers to run the app:
Each of these providers processes data only as needed to provide their service to us, under their own privacy and security commitments.
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data, or to object to certain processing. Because we store so little server-side (see "What We Store" above), most of your data is already fully within your control on your device. To exercise any rights regarding the limited data we do hold (your email, pairing record), contact us at hello@readyornot.me.
We retain your account/pairing record for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, this record is removed as described above. We do not retain any copy of your quiz answers or analysis at any point, as described throughout this policy.
We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit and at rest. Your on-device data is encrypted using your device's secure storage, gated by your PIN or biometric lock if enabled. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you within the app before the changes take effect. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
